Emmie was born and raised in Pine Mountain, Georgia. While she did not take up country-style dance until college, she grew up studying many other dance forms including ballet, lyrical, and musical theatre. For her, dancing is about the people. Whether it is a choreographed routine or everyone just having some fun, nothing makes her happier than the community built through the joy of dancing. Watch out for her on the dance floor because she loves to throw an extra spin or two in and might encourage you to do the same!
